Katy founded Remix Communications in 2016 because she’s passionate about spearheading impactful thought leadership programs for her clients. Brainstorming compelling topics and narratives, Katy helps bring ideas to life on stage at industry events, on top podcasts and in written content for clients such as Adobe, Meta, Stitch Fix and smaller growth companies. She is a strategic partner for many conference organizers, helping develop engaging sessions for their attendees, while finding ways to best showcase Remix’s clients.

Before Remix, Katy co-founded a successful Silicon Valley marketing/PR firm. Earlier she managed PR programs for Apple including Media & Entertainment, mobile products and QuickTime. She started her career on the PR agency side. 

Katy lives in Los Angeles and is a member of the Forbes Agency Council. In her spare time, she rides horses and volunteers with horse/donkey rescue All Seated in a Barn. She also served on the board of directors for the Peninsula Humane Society and Working Wonders Children’s Museum. Katy worked with TEDx as a speaker curator and coach, and was on the selection committee for SXSW 2023.
