The WSJ Women in The Workplace event this week tackled tough topics around how we work. Consider this: As our world continues to change, our workplace may never look like what it did pre-2020. And we are only beginning to learn the effects from the pandemic world on the modern workplace – and especially how it has affected women managers. How will we continue to evolve, grow and thrive in our companies? How will we push forward and make our work meaningful and results driven? What does our “office” look like? It was an engaging day filled with incredible speakers from Elizabeth Spaulding of Stitch Fix to Erika James the Dean of The Wharton School and Cynthia Marshall the CEO of the Dallas Mavericks, to name just a few. The event featured new research sharing insights on how women are faring in this new world, to creating inclusive workplaces, and leading through crisis. It’s refreshing to have these discussions and share ideas as the future of work is being reinvented today.
